Inspiration for event ideas can come from anywhere: a comment made by a client about a favorite flower with a bold and beautiful hue or a landscape drenched in natural morning sunlight or even a stone wall cast in fading shadows at dusk. Anything can spark the idea around which we build your event and create the ambiance you desire.
Remember, we are creating sensational! We have ignited the soul and the senses of your guests and left them in awe of the special event created… just for them.
The idea that often surfaces is, ”The venue is already beautiful so we don’t need much décor.” I agree, as many times, less is sensational and often breathtaking. I was lucky to have a client on this project who had the foresight to know what she wanted and how it would enhance the Luau stage. This lava rock wall is located on the beautiful tropical paradise shores of Maui. On the stage was to be a corporate awards presentation, as well as spectacular traditional Hawaiian Luau Show.
Take a look at the before and after photographs to see how sensational the orchid draping created an exotic waterfall effect with the perfect enhancement of LED wash (lighting).
Even better, we were able to change the lighting at the control board to create an entirely different mood and effect to complement the content of the entertainment and awards presentation. Lighting can make a world of difference and to the untrained eye, designs can be lost without proper lighting placement and technique.
I end with this thought and idea: don’t limit yourself when you produce an outdoor event with the premise that the architecture and landscape may be sufficient. Consider the possibilities, evaluate your budget, and see what your options may be. Give them something to talk about and leave them with the lasting impression that you created a sensational event …just for them and with them in mind!
